Andrea Rose Teodosio Foundation

Approximately 1,500 participants, volunteers and spectators filled Lock 3 in Akron for the second annual Andrea Rose Teodosio Foundation Il Palio del Drappo Verde e Rosso race on July 14, 2012. The first-place male participant was Christopher Alto, who completed the 5K course in 15.40 and was awarded the coveted red cloth. Maria Moore won the women's division for the second straight year with a time of 18:12 and was awarded the green cloth. Approximately 500 runners registered for the event and an even larger number were part of the one-mile walk/fun run. For the first time, a kids' fun run was held, which was a huge hit for future superstars!
