The rose that will forever bloom in our hearts
All of us have much to learn from the too-short yet remarkably
substantive life of Andrea Teodosio. A true friend to many,
especially to those who might be viewed as outsiders or on the
fringe of society, Andrea had a special gift for working with the
elderly and underpriviliged as well as taking action on important
environmental issues.
A graduate of Walsh Jesuit High School and John Carroll
University and a 2006 recipient of an Italian Council Scholarship,
Andrea was also an athlete, world traveler, lover of music (from
Van Morrison to Coldplay) and a passionate devotee of Italian
culture. Hoping to become fluent in Italian before her next visit
to Italy, Andrea especially cherished time spent with her family.
Cooking with her grandmothers was at the top of that list.
At the time of her death in a skiing accident at Snowshoe
Mountain in West Virginia, Andrea was a research and strategy
development assistant at Hitchcock Fleming and Associates, a
marketing communications firm in Akron, Ohio.
The Andrea Rose Teodosio Memorial Foundation has been
established in Andrea's memory.
